Over Vestas Wind Systems
Vestas Benelux is a Sales Business Unit headquartered in Arnhem (the Netherlands) and is responsible for the sales, construction and service of Vestas wind turbines in the Netherlands and Belgium. Our Benelux organization has approximately 225 employees, most of whom work in the various regions. About 60 employees work at the head office.
The Vestas Offshore department is responsible for the installation and maintenance of the wind turbines of several wind farms in the North Sea and does this from Ijmuiden. The Vestas Onshore department is responsible for the construction and maintenance of several turbines on land and does this from various locations in the Netherlands.

We like an informal atmosphere and we like to work hard together towards the same goal: to keep the wind turbines running at full capacity (and for a clean future). They speak and work with a lot of passion on all the techniques you have to deal with as a mechanic. Where you may be stronger in one than the other, but where we challenge everyone to learn this. How nice is that! You always go to a wind turbine in a team of 2 to 3 people. This can be on land or at sea, depending on your wishes and your living situation.

We are looking for people who are curious about everything that has to do with technology, who want to know why something works the way it does. Are you interested in new technology and do you have an electrical, mechanical or hydraulic background? Do you enjoy working with your hands and providing solutions to technical problems? At Vestas we are looking for Service Technicians for various locations and departments in the Netherlands and Belgium for our Onshore and Offshore department. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills at your own pace, under the guidance of great colleagues.
